'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is presently halfway through the four-year deal he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the initial significant honor of his notable career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would be pleased to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he once was, and would certainly consider extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
